Someone needed our Dad and Pop.

We wanted you to hang on

You were so brave Dad

  as you slipped away.

We remember all the years

The dogs,the kids,the trucks,

  the fruit trips-and how you

  couldn't tolerate flips!

The travels,the stories that came from your lips..

You loved going near and far

  as much as you adored

Bigger than Texas was your personality

  the tap dancing,the loudness,the laugh-

  you never did anything by half.

Dad-we know you are on the eternal

  fruit run

But our world is now dark-

  where is the sun?

We know you're not that very far

We will always love and miss you Dad,

  but we've lost a star.

I hope you and Mum find

  each other again

Please work it out for the family

I remember when I was little and pop was staying at our house i was laying in bed when i heard a noise that sounded like someone drinking the last drop of  

a milk shake.  I thought Alaura had a milk shake and i was missing out. so i asked mum what it was.   turns out it was poppy snoring!!!!!   needless to say i didnt get a shake!!!    LOLOLOLOL!!

I remember Dad heating up frozen apple pies in the oven complete with the plastic packaging tray..what a mess..sometimes he just acted helpless so you would do it for him!

Dad was fascinated with the internet,he was always bugging me to show him how to use the computer,he would always give up after 10 minutes saying his eyes were too sore,once,he got me to register him on msn's dating site,I guess he wanted some female company!Then he decided he could do it himself so I let him fill in the form and he did it,after a couple of days he asked if I could get the site up to see if he had had any bites,lol,so I did,I left him to it,seeing as he was all computer literate now,next thing he's yelling for me, I'm thinking what the hell has he done to my computer?I go into the computer room and I said "what's wrong?any bites yet?"He said "yeah plenty of them,and they are all from gay men!!!!!" lmao!!!!!He had clicked male looking for male on that form hadn't he...lololol!!!That was the end of internet dating!!!

I taught him how to use Ebay and he was happy with that!
